Summarize customer feedback
Intelligence allows you to generate concise summaries for customer feedback and requests linked to an Insight. How it works- Summarization is manual. You choose when to generate or refresh a summary.
- The summary is created based on the feedback, conversations, and requests linked to that Insight.
- If the Insight is updated later, you can regenerate the summary by clicking the Intelligence icon.
- Quickly understand the core problem without reading every message.
- Capture recurring themes and customer intent clearly.
- Share a high-level overview with stakeholders and delivery teams.
Auto-detect sentiment
Intelligence automatically detects the sentiment of an Insight based on the language used across linked feedback and conversations. Supported sentiments- Positive
- Neutral
- Negative
- Identify frustrated or unhappy customers early.
- Add emotional context when prioritizing work.
- Balance roadmap decisions across fixes, improvements, and wins.
Auto-detect insight type
Intelligence automatically classifies the type of each Insight. Supported types- Feedback
- Request
- Bug
- Praise
- Idea
- Keep Insights consistently categorized without manual effort.
- Filter and segment Insights more effectively.
- Route bugs, requests, and ideas to the right workflows faster.
Enable auto-detection
Auto-detection for sentiment and insight type can be enabled from workspace settings. How to enable- Click your workspace name in the top-left corner.
- Go to Settings → Intelligence.
- Enable Detect sentiment automatically and Detect type automatically.
Intelligence credits
Each Intelligence action consumes credits. What uses credits- Generating or refreshing a summary for an Insight
- Detecting or re-evaluating sentiment
- Detecting or re-evaluating Insight type
- You can view your available credits from Billing in your workspace settings.

AI privacy and data usage
Lane takes data privacy seriously.- Lane does not use your data to train its own AI models.
- Data processed for AI-powered features is shared only with trusted partners to deliver those features.
- Your data is not used to train external models without permission.
