Integrate Lane with Zapier to connect with thousands of apps
Zapier connects Lane to thousands of apps without any code. The Lane app gives you two building blocks: an action to push feedback into Lane from anywhere, and a trigger that fires when a signal surfaces so you can kick off workflows in your other tools. Available on Pro and Business.

Connect

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Zapier and open the Lane app in Zapier.
  2. Create a Zap with Lane as the Trigger or Action app.
  3. Authenticate with your Lane API key.

Action: Create feedback

Push feedback into Lane from any app in your stack. Map these fields:
  • Title (required) — a short summary.
  • Description (optional) — the feedback body.
  • Customer Email (optional) — link the feedback to a customer; Lane matches the contact and groups it under a company by domain.
  • Customer Name (optional) — used with the email when creating a new contact.
Common uses: turn Typeform or survey responses into Feedback, create feedback from a new G2 review, or forward messages from another support tool into Lane.

Trigger: New Signal

This trigger fires as Signals surface in your workspace, so you can route what matters into the tools your team watches. Each signal carries its priority score and whether it’s surfaced (matched your workspace context), so add a Zapier Filter step to act only on the ones you care about — for example, only signals above a priority threshold, or only surfaced ones. Common uses: post high-priority signals to a Slack channel, append surfaced signals to a Google Sheet, or open a ticket when a signal crosses a priority threshold.

FAQs

Q: What can Lane do in Zapier?
A: Two things today — the Create feedback action (push feedback in, optionally linked to a customer) and the New Signal trigger (fire a workflow as signals surface).
Q: How do I only trigger on important signals?
A: Add a Zapier Filter step on the signal’s priority score or its surfaced flag, both of which are on the trigger payload.
Q: Where’s my API key?
A: Generate one under Settings → API in Lane and use it to authenticate the Zap.
