- Read your docs, so Lane can tell you what they say: “is the new export documented?”, “what do our docs say about SSO setup?”
- Keep docs up to date, so Lane can suggest edits as pull requests when the product changes. Your team reviews every change, and nothing is published until someone merges it.
Connect your docs
Go to Settings → Integrations and open Mintlify.- Enter your Docs address, for example
docs.yourcompany.com. Public docs only for now. - Choose Connect.
Let Lane suggest edits
Under Keep docs up to date, choose Connect and sign in to Mintlify with an account in the Mintlify organization that hosts these docs. From then on, Lane can propose changes to existing pages. Each set of changes goes on a new branch and opens a pull request for your team to review. Lane never merges or publishes.- In chat, Lane shows each change, what it replaces and what with, and asks for your approval before opening the pull request.
- In Automations, set Mintlify to Read and write and the automation opens pull requests without asking; each one is linked from the run. Pair it with a Pull request merged trigger from GitHub and your docs can keep up with every release.
