Attio is in Beta.
Lane’s Attio integration keeps your product team working from the same customer data your revenue team lives in. It syncs companies and people from Attio into Lane as Customers — so feedback carries real account context like value and tier — and it puts a Lane widget on Attio records so anyone can see a customer’s open requests and send new feedback without leaving Attio. Available on Pro and Business.

Connect

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Attio.
  2. Click Connect and authorize access to your Attio workspace via OAuth.
Once connected, the page shows your Attio workspace and connection date. You can disconnect anytime from the same page. Connecting doesn’t import your CRM in bulk — see Keeping data in sync for how records actually make it into Lane.

What syncs

Lane imports Attio companies as customer accounts and Attio people as their contacts, tagging each with Attio as its source. Sync is one-way — from Attio into Lane; changes you make in Lane aren’t pushed back. Because Attio is the source of truth, fields mapped from Attio are locked in Lane (unmapped fields stay editable).

Field mapping

Field mapping lives on its own page — Settings → Integrations → Attio → Edit field mapping. For each Lane field, pick the Attio attribute that feeds it. Company fields: Name, Domain, Size, Value (ARR).
Person fields: Name, Email, Role.

Value mapping

For status and tier, Attio’s select values are mapped to your Lane status and tier options, so a CRM value lands as the right Lane value. Values you haven’t mapped yet are surfaced on the mapping page so nothing syncs into a blank field silently.

Keeping data in sync

Attio is feedback-first: connecting or saving your field mapping does not pour your whole Attio workspace into Lane. Instead:
  • New customers arrive automatically the moment they show up in feedback. When a note or piece of feedback mentions a company or person, Lane creates the customer record from Attio at that point — you don’t need to import first.
  • Save & Refresh (the mapping page’s save button) only re-enriches customers Lane already has — matched by Attio record ID, or by domain for accounts that arrived from another source. It never creates or deletes records.
  • Webhooks keep existing customers current as their Attio records change — also update-only, never creating new ones.
  • Import customers, on the Attio settings page, is the explicit full backfill: it brings every Attio company and person into Lane as a customer and keeps them in sync going forward. Use it if you want your whole CRM in Lane rather than customers arriving as feedback comes in.
You can trigger a refresh anytime from the integration settings; a Sync now button shows Syncing… while a refresh is in flight, and the mapping page’s Save & Refresh shows a matching Refreshing… state.

Capture feedback

Record widget

The Lane requests widget appears on Attio company and person records, showing that customer’s most recent requests and their status (people also see requests linked to their company). A Send feedback to Lane action — on the record page and in the ⌘K command palette — opens a form to send new feedback without leaving Attio. Setup: the widget needs a token to talk to Lane. Go to Settings → Integrations → Attio → Record widget → Generate token (Pro+). Copy the token shown, then paste it into the Lane app’s connection inside Attio (Settings → Apps → Lane → Connections in your Attio workspace — Lane’s settings page links straight there). Regenerate token invalidates the previous one, so re-paste it in Attio after regenerating.

Call-transcript highlight-to-send

On an Attio call-recording transcript, highlight any text and choose Send to Lane to open the same feedback modal, pre-filled with the highlighted passage and a link back to the transcript. Pick the Customer it’s about (not pre-selected from a transcript, since a transcript isn’t tied to one record), add a Title and Details, and send.

Capture notes automatically

Turn on Capture notes in the Attio settings to have new Attio notes come into Lane as Signals automatically. It’s off by default. There’s no manual, per-note send option — capture is either on or off.

FAQs

Q: Which plans include Attio?
A: Pro and Business. Starter workspaces see an upgrade prompt.
Q: Does connecting Attio import my whole CRM?
A: No. Attio is feedback-first — customers arrive automatically when they appear in feedback, or all at once if you click Import customers. Connecting and saving your mapping only refresh customers Lane already has.
Q: Is the sync real-time?
A: Existing customers update via webhook as their Attio record changes. Nothing creates new customers except feedback or an explicit Import.
Q: Can I edit an Attio-synced field in Lane?
A: Fields mapped from Attio are locked to keep the CRM as the source of truth. Unmapped fields stay editable.
Q: What happened to manual note capture?
A: It’s been removed — it behaved identically to notes being off. Capture notes is now a single on/off setting.
Q: What happens if I disconnect?
A: Previously synced records stay in Lane, but updates and future syncs stop until you reconnect.
